New Sports Complex Comes to Branchburg

The Branchburg Sports Complex (BSC), located at 47 Readington Road in Branchburg, NJ, is a 78,000 square foot sports facility with action packed sports activities geared towards the entire family. The sports complex, owned by Mark Lauber, was once the location of his wine wholesale and distribution business. When he sold his wine business he decided it was time to take action on a lifelong dream to build the best sports facility geared towards providing fun and excitement for the entire family.

Today, this converted warehouse space is home to four soccer fields; four batting cages; a beautiful fitness center; a four-level, state-of the art, urban jungle-themed laser tag arena; an arcade entertainment center with almost fifty brand-new video games; the popular Lil’ Kickers soccer franchise for children; Tara’s boot camp for women; ballroom dancing lessons and more.

Fun cards are available for purchase and can be used as debit cards for activities throughout the facility, such as arcade games, laser tag, and concession stand purchases. The Branchburg Sports Complex hosts children’s birthday parties with varying themes such as laser tag, arcade, Lil’ Kickers soccer, baseball, dodge ball, and kickball.

BSC is also geared toward corporate events ranging from holiday parties to customized team building programs, as well as corporate sports games and leagues. Conference rooms are available for seminars and team building and morale-boosting programs led by trained instructors.

The laser tag arena is truly the best of the best. Creative Works designed a 9,000 square foot, Disney-level, urban jungle theme with 4 levels of ramps and suspended walkways. The BSC laser tag arena features black light murals and two sixteen foot tall droid robots and is the most advanced laser tag arena on the East Coast, making for an intense, high impact experience unlike any other.

An observation deck allows those that aren’t playing the game to also participate by using the two large laser guns at the top level of the laser arena. This is the perfect solution for families with younger children and allows everyone to be part of the game.

The Arcade Entertainment Center is family oriented as well, with games for the young, all the way up to games for adults. Tickets are earned and accumulated and they have a redemption center filled with all types of great prizes.

There are four batting cages and are the same cages used by the MLB with speeds up to 90mph. There are interchangeable heads and batting arms for both softball and hardball. Speed and agility training programs are also available.

Branchburg Sports Complex is really geared toward the entire family. Friday night is flag football for men and many of the Dads take their whole family. The kids can play the arcade games while the men play flag football. Wi-Fi is located in the lobby, along with television and a concession stand, giving parents a little personal time while their children play soccer or baseball. Parents can coordinate Lil’ Kickers classes to coordinate with fitness classes and security cameras are located throughout the building for parents’ piece of mind.
